At a time when southern aroma is filling the air in Tamil cinema with every second film being made on Madurai or Tirunelveli, Nakul makes it clear that he can’t play the role of a Madurai youth.

“I don’t think that the role of a Madurai or Tirunelveli youth, with a sickle in the hand, would suit me. I can’t take such risks with a chubby face. Guess that I would be apt for playing a happy go lucky youngster,” he says without any hesitation.

Saying that he is currently on a research to find out of the taste of the audience, the up and coming hero says he would mould himself as per the preference of film-buffs. “I think it as my duty,” he says.

Ask him whether he would act in his sister Devayani’s production venture, Nakul says, “I would act in a movie produced by Devayani if I like the story, my character in the movie, and last but not least, if she comes forward to give the salary I demand.”
